DNLS 2022 Season Review

CoRe Takes SP10 Championship & SP3T Vice-Championship!

The second time is a repeat – but a third time makes it a tradition.” With this quote the VCO Esports Digital Nürburgring Endurance Series returned to iRacing for its’ 2021-2022 season. The third season of the DNLS started November 27th with another five-event season which provided a fantastic virtual motorsports show in the notorious green hell. After 5 action packed races at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, CoRe SimRacing takes the class championship in SP10, finishes 2nd overall in the SP3T category and – to round up an own podium – also secures P3 in the Deutsche Payment Trophy!

The CoRe SimRacing SP10 squad was able to secure the championship already in race 4 out of 5. Maxim Ramsteijn : “I am so stoked to be #DNLS SP10 champions together with Pascal Stix! Very strong season for our CoReSimRacing Cayman GT4! Thanks to the team for the support and especially to Carl Jansson for replacing me in the final race of the season, grabbing pole and the win!” Carl Jansson : “It was nice to help the guys in the #303 SP10 out in the last race of the season. Managed to grab pole and with a good start and first stint from Pascal Stix we lined it up nicely to win the final race.

Pascal Stix : “Ending a great season of #DNLS racing with style, with a 4th win and the SP10 championship! Big thanks to my teammate Maxim Ramsteijn for a phenomenal performance as well as Carl Jansson for helping us out in the last race.” The SP3T squad of Kieran Harrison and Corentin Guinez finished the second in 2nd against a very strong Team Heusinkeld who took the SP3T championship this time.

“We end P2 in SP3T class, a very disappointing result for me since we had the pace to get the title but some badl uck and mistakes we’ve made reduced any chances of the title. Anyway, it was a good season of racing against @heusinkveldofficial Team, was hard and fair racing all the way which is enjoyable. We will learn from this season and comeback stronger and better prepared next season!” – said Corentin. The SP9 entry of CoRe SimRacing finished P8, the Cup2 entrance finished P10 overall.
