CoRe SimRacing is happy to announce an old & new member to its’ lineup!
Since it’s been a while reinforcing the CoRe SimRacing iRacing team line-up, the CoRe community is thrilled to announce two new drivers to its’ roster : Martin Kammerhofer, who applied this summer and joined his recruitment at Pascal Stix and Sven Neumann’s Apex Racing League LMP2 efforts – and our good old & lost Live For Speed CoRe colleague Markus Gunzelmann, who helped out at our DMSB Endurance line-up and therefor found his way back to his simracing family.
Martin, who’s a 38 years old simracing enthusiast coming from Austria but living in Switzerland, has been racing virtual motorsports games since 97′ playing TOCA and Colin McRae Rally. After Martin got settled in life pretty much after a lot of traveling, simracing interests returned farily quick and so he joined iRacing back in 2017. Being hooked with team endurance racing he enjoys racing in prototype cars, improves his racecraft day by day and hopes to get better at CoRe : “I expect nothing less than CoRe being my last team in virtual motorsport. Knowing the history of CoRe and their driver line-ups, I see so much potential to improve even further!”
Markus, 36 years old, who’s been racing in Live For Speed prime times against and with CoRe SimRacing in the late 2000’s and early 2010’s, is thrilled that he found his way back at CoRe SimRacing : “Actually, I never left, right?” Being an IT guy in real life and doing a lot of fitness and biking in his free time, Markus started simracing in 2004 with LFS racing in the roots of ESL, the Masters of Endurance series while also diving a bit into Assetto Corsa. “I am looking forward doing league racing as well as some of the special events in iRacing in a competitive environment again while having a lot of fun in the team.”
Welcome to the team, Martin & Markus!
