CoRe SimRacing Ends The Digital Endurance Cup By CARLAR With Double Podium Results!
The inaugural Digital Endurance Cup, powered by CARLAR, has successfully concluded after six rounds of competitive racing on iRacing. The series featured multi-class racing with the Porsche 992 Cup, GT4, and TCR, bringing together a strong national field of mostly german speaking endurance competitors. CoRe SimRacing entered the championship with two teams by invitation from CARLAR, one competing in the Porsche Cup class with Carl Winkler and Maik Paluch and another in GT4 with Ronald Großmann, Dominik Engel and Pascal Stix, both delivering a consistent campaign and ultimately securing P3 overall in their respective divisions.

The season opener at the iconic Road America circuit saw a strong start for CoRe SimRacing. Both teams delivered solid performances, with the Cup team finishing P2 and the GT4 team claiming P3. Showing good pace and racecraft, the early podiums set a positive tone for the championship ahead. Barber brought new challenges with its tight, technical layout, making traffic management critical. Despite several race incidents, both teams recovered well, with the Cup team securing P3 and the GT4 team finishing P4, collecting valuable points towards the series standings. Sebring’s bumpy and demanding surface suited the teams well. The GT4 squad produced one of their strongest drives of the season to finish P2, while the Cup team added another podium with a P3 finish. Both teams maximized their points haul, reinforcing their positions in the championship.

At Imola, consistency was key. Although both teams faced difficult races, they managed P4 finishes in their respective classes. While a podium eluded them this time, the teams effectively limited the damage in the standings and kept their good championship positioning alive. The fifth round at Jerez was a special occasion as CoRe SimRacing celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Sporting unique commemorative liveries, the Cup team delivered a standout performance, finishing P2. The GT4 team secured a solid P4, making it a memorable weekend both on and off the track, marking two decades of racing legacy and passion.

Last but not least, the championship concluded at Portimao. Although the final race proved challenging with quite close finishes for both CoRe squads over the line, with a P3 and P5 result as the final positions, the outcomes did not impact the final standings much – CoRe SimRacing officially takes home P3 in both the Cup and GT4 championships. A sincere thank you goes out to the organizers at CARLAR for putting together an enjoyable series.
