CoRe’s announces two more members to their iRacing roster!
Following a recent expansion of the CoRe roster earlier this year, the team is proud to announce two more skillful additions to the iRacing line-up. With already four promising members recruited at the start of 2025 who brought diversity, fresh energy and dedication, it did not take long to further elevate the team’s dynamic : CoRe SimRacing welcomes 🇩🇪 Jan Vollmers & 🇫🇮 Sami Heiskanen to the team!
Jan W Vollmers, a 30 years old CAE engineer from Wolfsburg, Germany, who previously raced with Marcus at KKraemer Racing Esports, decided to join forces with CoRe. Jan started simracing in 2020 with iRacing and instantly connected with the LMP1. With experience in major endurance series like SCO and IVRA, his preference remains firmly rooted in prototypes. Off the track, he’s all about motorsports, bikes, and cars. At CoRe he’s looking to push the limits to the next level.
Hailing from Forssa, Finland, 36 years old Sami Heiskanen is a truck driver by day and a simracer by heart. He began his virtual racing journey with ACC before switching to iRacing in July 2023. Racing with Mikko in the Sampsoid GT3 series already, Sami proved to be on top of the competition. Though newer to the scene, his dedication and love for clean, competitive racing makes him a strong fit for the team. He’s all in about CoRe’s good racing & good vibes.
With overall six talented new members in 2025 now, CoRe SimRacing heads into the second half of the year with these great two more additions to their long lasting team roster. With the upcoming Apex Racing League’s GT3 Trophy, which is already in its’ 10th season and sees Jan & Sami joining, CoRe’s eager to participate with great line-ups in leagues and series across the iRacing realm.
